I know I read, once upon a time, what bag/suitcase you use for travel but I now can’t find it. I am looking for a duffle style that I can also use as a backpack. If it also rolls, so much better but that might add too much weight. It needs to be lightweight as I can only carry a maxium of 30 pounds. What do you recommend? Help me please!

My old bag was a High Sierra roller/backpack. Not super lightweight though so not sure if it would be what you are looking for.

Hello Hannah, I have an Oktoberfest trip for next year and the following. I would like to add an optional post tour to our trip that includes hotels in Prague. Please let me know if you are interested in offering something like this as an optional to my guests. I have been in the travel business for 9 years, left the company and now have started my own tour operation in the US. I’m new as an owner, but have a passion and a following.

Let me know what you think about this idea and any others you may have. Thanks!

Hey Daniel, I don’t offer tours or travel bookings. I’m not a travel agent.

    Hannah:
Some dear friends suggested I should contact you. My wife I ,both over 75, would be in Ireland for six days in september and would have a car. Starting from Dublin- we would like to be near the west coast. Could you recommend some affordable castles or very good inns preferably near or on the coast the coast. I would be extremely grateful for your suggestions.
    Thank you ,
    Sansar

Hello Hannah, thanks for your post about wetsuits for plus size women on girlsthatscuba – it rang true 100%. Did any of the manufacturers ever reply to you? Have any of them accepted we’re not all thin but love spending time in, on and under the water?

    • Hannah Logan on June 29, 2020 at 11:24 am

      Hi Sue,

There actually has been some positive change since I wrote that article. 7Till8 Wetsuits is US based and offers custom wetsuits made to your measurements. Also, Truli Wetsuits has expanded their sizes which is amazing as well. I played ‘guinea pig’ for Mia of Truli wetsuits and I really loved the product.

      Hi Blanca,
I’m not hiring and I don’t dig into working abroad but there are several bloggers our there that specialize in getting a job abroad. I’m sure with some google searching you can find some good resources to help!

Hi there, do you have any tips on how to get started for a 70 year young female who wants to travel like you?

    • Hannah Logan on September 26, 2023 at 10:31 am

      Buy the plane ticket! Haha.
Not sure what you are looking for tip wise and what type of travel you want to do. If you want to stay long term somewhere look for apartment rentals, airbnb, or even a housesitting program. If you want to travel around faster then hotels, Airbnbs, and even boutique (not party) hostels could be an option. There are some that have age restrictions and many that don’t. Also many these days have private rooms. Walking tours, cooking classes, organized day trips are all easy ways to meet fellow travellers. Honestly, pick a place, give it a shot, and try things out and see what you works for you

    Hello Hannah…

Exploring the possibility of visiting the highlighted islands of French Polynesia in 2025. Do you ever have or plan to have group experiences there? Bora Bora and one or two stops you have recommended?

    Any initial thoughts or recommendations?

Thank you very much in advance!

    Doug

      Hi Doug,
Not sure about group trips there- could be a possibility in which case I’d likely look at a sailing/boat option.
My two favourites are Mo’orea and Huahine. So if you do go I’d be sure to add those in!

    Hello Hannah,
    I recently found your website.
I would like to know when traveling in Ireland, with diabetes , do you think it’s going to be difficult to find
places to eat that have food not too rich, more about fish and salad , etc. ?

Thank you and I love seeing your pictures , its a way to travel to places where I don’t think I will be able to go !

I think you should be ok. Especially in bigger cities- they have lots of non-pub style places to eat. Just do some research and check menus before hand 🙂
