Visiting a pub is an absolute must in Ireland. But, have you even thought of sleeping in one? Pub accommodation in Ireland isn’t too common, however, there are a few spots around the country that offer rooms above the bar. It’s a unique option for sure but, in my opinion, a whole lot of fun and offers you a more local experience. In 2017 I stayed in a room above a pub in Kilkenny and got to experience my first ever lock-in which I absolutely loved.

So, for anyone else who loves the idea of spending a night in a pub, here are some of the best options for pub accommodation in Ireland.
